(KGTV) — The opening of "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" at Disneyland this month is sure to please many fans who have long-waited for the experience. But it won't end on day one.
One noticeably missing attraction on day one will be the Rise of the Resistance attraction, due out later this year.
The ride will take guests right into a First Order Star Destroyer where they'll work to escape from a fleet of Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren himself. A trackless car transports guests through a massive hanger, where they'll notice life-size recreations of Poe Dameron's X-Wing and TIE fighters.

Riders may even run into Star Wars characters as they try to make their getaway.
And soon, reservations booked online will be a thing of the past.
After the initial opening of "Galaxy's Edge," guests will instead utilize a "boarding pass" system. The pass will be introduced to help control the amount of guests accessing the land at first, before eventually being fully opened to the public.
Upon entering Disneyland, guests can sign up for a boarding pass and wait for their pass to be called to come access "Galaxy's Edge."
