(KGTV) -- Mammoth Mountain closed for the season after receiving near record snowfall this winter.
According to the resort, the closure ended Mammoth’s 261 day season.
Throughout the 2018-2019 season, the resort received 718 inches of snowfall at its summit and 492 inches of snow at the main lodge.
In February alone, 207 inches of snow, marking the snowiest February on record.
If you’re planning a trip, you won’t have to wait long. Mammoth Mountain reopens for the season on November 9.
