SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego will host more than 100 independent and studio film premieres at its annual international film festival this month.
The 17th annual San Diego International Film Festival will highlight studio films, documentaries, short stories, and more from Oct. 10 - 14, coupled with discussions between filmmakers and industry experts.
More than 2000 submissions from independent filmmakers in 60 countries were boiled down to about 100 films for the festival.

Films will be screened at Regal Theater in Horton Plaza and ArcLight Cinemas at Westfield UTC. Tickets for the films start at $16 and can be purchased online.
In addition to the variety of films brought to the festival, star power will naturally be in full force.

This year's Night of Stars tribute will honor music icon Kenny Loggins, and screen stars Topher Grace, Kathryn Hahn, John Cho, Alex Wolff, and another honoree that will be named at the tribute.
