SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Many San Diego families planning to celebrate the Passover and Easter holidays this month will do so virtually, according to recent poll.
Some families who normally host guests for the holidays will instead use online meeting services, a scientific 10News/Union-Tribune poll found.
Of 767 respondents who said they celebrate Easter, 36 percent said they would be getting together electronically with family or friends. Of 152 respondents celebrating Passover, 36 percent said they will also meet up electronically.

While both groups of celebrators say there will be less people around the dinner table during the holidays, they won't entirely be without them.
The San Diego Diocese is going online with Easter celebrations, celebrating Thursday through Sunday on its website here.
Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center is also listing Passover Seder events online.
