SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- It's here! The longest day of the year is on June 21, marking the official start of Summer. 10News sifted through social to find some fun events where you can mark the occasion.

North Park: Summer Solstice Party 

Enjoy live music, a beer garden art and local produce at the North Park Thursday Market. The market takes place from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 300 North Park Way.

Liberty Station: Summer Solstice Art 

Artists of the Arts District Liberty Station invite you to stroll through studios and galleries and meet the artists. Local musicians will also be present, providing live music to make that first Summer night extra special. Hungry? Drinks and snacks will be available at Chi Chocolat/ Banyan Kitchen in Barracks 19. Harbor Island Park: Sunset Picnic

Enjoy the sunset on the longest day of the year with a picnic at Harbor Island Park! Alvino & The Dwells will start their set at 6 p.m. and you'll get to enjoy prize giveaways and contests with your loved ones.

Balboa Park: Reggae Celebration 
Roots Reggae Foundation Artist Max Romeo will perform at the WorldBeat Center. It's his first time in San Diego in over 20 years, according to the Center. All ages welcome!

College area: Beer tastings at "Eureka!"

The restaurant will host an all-day craft beer and live music solstice party on SATURDAY. Tickets to the event get you 50 ounces of beer samples from local craft breweries like Fall Brewing, Modern Times, Pure Project, Duck Foot and Pizza Port. A portion of the proceeds will go the San Diego Center for the Blind. Purchase your tickets here

But wait, there's a freebie. Dunkin Donuts will mark the first day of Summer with what else - frozen lemonade. 

Guests at participating Dunkin’ Donuts are invited to enjoy a free sample from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while supplies last. The frozen beverage is available in two flavors, Original and Strawberry.
