SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Summer days call for lazy hours spent taking a refreshing dip in the pool and basking in the sun, perhaps with a fruity cocktail in hand.

San Diegans who want to live the luxe life can do so for a day at a relative bargain: many local resorts offer day passes for their pools and spas.

For a fraction of the price of a hotel room, day visitors can enjoy many of the privileges as regular guests. Some resorts offer cheaper passes for children. (Pass prices listed below are subject to change.)
