Everything you need to know about the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- It’s almost time to take in the views and enjoy a PGA Golf competition at the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego.

This year’s tournament will take place Wednesday, Jan. 22, through Sunday, Jan. 26, at the famed Torrey Pines Golf Course.

This year, the Pro-Am begins on Wednesday, January 22 at 6:40 a.m.

Several big names with San Diego ties have already committed to the Open, including Phil Mickelson, Jamie Lovemark, Pat Perez, Xander Schauffele and J.J. Spaun. Golfing icon Tiger Woods has also committed to the tournament, after finishing last year's Farmers competition 10 under over for 20th place.

TICKETS

Ticket prices for the event range between $25 for Wednesday's events to $1,250 for a Trophy Club ticket. Kids 12 and under are free but must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Active-duty, retired and reserve military members and their dependents are also given free admission with a valid military ID.

EVENT PARKING

Parking on Wednesday is free at the Torrey Pines Gliderport located at 2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Drive. From Thursday to Sunday, parking ranges from $25 to $40. Due to limited parking, Uber is recommended, according to the event website.
