SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Balboa Park celebrates the summer with Food Truck Fridays.
Visitors can sample the cuisine of more than a dozen popular food trucks in the Plaza de Panama and El Prado walkway while enjoying live performances or DJs.
The San Diego Museum of Art offers $5 admission after 5 p.m. and other Balboa Park cultural institutions have hands-on activities for children.
The family-friendly event runs from 4 to 8:30 Friday nights through September 28.
If you’re going to the event, park officials recommend you bring lawn chairs or a blanket. Parking is available at Inspiration Point at the corner of Park Blvd. and President’s Way. A tram service shuttles visitors into the center of the park.
