(KGTV) - Disneyland Resort announced its reservation timeline Monday for the eagerly awaited “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge”.
The new land is expected to be crowded with fans from its opening May 31 through early summer. Reservations will be required during the soft opening until at least June 23, in addition to theme park admission.
Visitors with reservations will be allowed to spend four hours in the new land before they are asked to leave, according to OC Register.
Disney has shared details about the rides, foods and drinks, and merchandise fans will get to experience and enjoy at the theme parks' expansion.

Rise of the Resistance submerges guests into a First Order Star Destroyer trying to escape a fleet of Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren. The ride is reportedly slated to open later this year.
New eateries will also be open including Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Ronto Roasters, the Milk Stand, Kat Saka's Kettle, and Oga's Cantina for an assortment of dishes and drinks capturing the Star Wars universe.

Disney’s online reservation system opens May 2 at 8 a.m. PT. Guests will have to open a free Disney Account to hold a reservation.
Guests at Disneyland Resort hotels will be able to guarantee reservations for Galaxy's Edge. The least expensive room rate for opening day, May 31, was $503 at Disney's Paradise Pier Resort.
