(KGTV) — The next biggest expansion to hit Anaheim will allow fans to step into the shoes of one of Marvel's most iconic heroes.
Disney's California Adventure will soon invite guests to embark on their own superhero journey as part of the park's new Avengers headquarters.
The park has welcomed the new Worldwide Engineering Brigade into the park, known as "WEB," where characters such as Peter Parker are helping recruit the next class of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Guests will be able to weave their own heroic paths through an "immersive, interactive experience" coming to the park, using a blend of a "cutting-edge interface" and "practical effects."
"Besides introducing WEB, we can’t wait to debut a brand-new, cutting-edge interface as part of this fun, interactive attraction," Scot Drake, creative executive at Walt Disney Imagineering’s Global Marvel Portfolio, said. "Through a blend of never-before-seen technology and practical effects, guests will get to experience for themselves what it is like to have the abilities of a superhero."
The park will launch with a debut project featuring a new, upgraded Spider-Man suit.
Though an opening date has yet to be revealed, "recruitment begins soon."
