(KGTV) — Disney revealed more details Friday about its highly-anticipated Marvel-themed expansion coming to California Adventure in 2020.
"Avengers Campus" will replace the park's former "A Bug's Life" area, next to the "Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout!" tower attraction.
Disney says guests can expect to become part of an "interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join them."

California Adventure's expansion builds on the already popular "Guardians" attraction, promising to add an immersive adventure that places guests into the wed-slinging suit of Spider-Man.
A Spider-Man attraction places guests in the seat of the new “Web Slinger” vehicle to help your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man round-up an army of Spider-Bots that have gotten loose.
Guests are likely to work up an appetite, so thankfully Pym Technologies is hosting a Pym Test Kitchen, guaranteed to satisfy even the biggest of appetites.
In the expansion's Phase Two, an attraction sending recruits on a Quinjet to help the Avengers save the day from a powerful new villain attacking Wakanda. Imagineers are working on "an all-new innovative ride system" that will put guests in the middle of the action.
Heroic encounters with Dr. Strange, Black Widow, Iron Man, and more are also a guarantee throughout the campus.
