SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Disneyland is bringing nearly 1,000 case members back to work for a limited-time ticketed food experience that will be held inside California Adventure.
The new event will focus on "world-class food and beverage offerings from around the resort," according to a letter sent to cast members by Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock. Fans can expect the new food event to arrive in mid-March.
The ticketed food event will feature what's being described as a distinctly Disney experience, with food and entertainment experiences multiple days a week at California Adventure — though details of the event have yet to be announced.
The limited capacity event is being planned in accordance with state and county coronavirus guidelines. Theme park rides will not be operating during the event.
The news comes after the park recently reopened its outdoor dining on Buena Vista Street with California's regional stay-at-home order lifted. Since that order was lifted, about 350 employees have returned to work in the Downtown Disney District.
A full list of retail and food locations in Downtown Disney and location hours are available online. Visitors are required to wear face coverings, practice physical distancing, and must have their temperature checked before being allowed into the district or park.
