LA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) - This time next year San Diegans can beat the heat at a large-scale brewery in La Mesa.
The 25,000 square-foot facility will feature much more than beer and is the brainchild of David Cohn, Founder and President of the Cohn Restaurant Group. He says in the last ten years their mission has focused on bringing great restaurants to underserved communities.
The new brewery will be called Draft Republic Brewing Co., and it will feature craft beer, a restaurant, and recreation:
- 18-hole miniature golf course
- Bocce ball courts
- Shuffleboard
- Beer garden
- Children's play area
The Cohn Restaurant Group is currently looking for a brewmaster for the new facility, and they hope to open in the Fall of 2019.
David and Lesley Cohn started their restaurant empire in 1982, now owning and operating over 25 restaurants.
