SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Two San Diego-area hotels ranked among the best in the country, according to travelers.
The Fairmont Grand Del Mar, in Carmel Valley, and Legoland California Hotel, in Carlsbad, were ranked the seventh-best luxury hotel and sixth-best family hotel, respectively, by TripAdvisor reviews, according to a survey by the website.
The best hotels were determined based on reviews posted over one year on TripAdvisor. Legoland California Hotel has is rated 4.5 out of more than 2,100 reviews on the website, while the Fairmont Grand Del Mar is rated a perfect five out of more than 2,000 reviews.

Guests at Legoland California Hotel rave about the hotel's themed rooms, bevvy of activities for children and families, variety of food, and, of course, Legos.
