LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KGTV) - Military couples can win a wedding or vow renewal in Las Vegas courtesy of the city’s Wedding Chamber of Commerce.

The 2nd Annual “Las Vegas Marries the Military” event will take place Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 8.

“Veterans Day is one of our favorite holidays because it allows us to thank active-duty members and veterans, along with their families, for all of their sacrifice on our behalf. Las Vegas Marries the Military allows us to offer a tangible ‘Thank You’ from our wedding community to these special couples,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya.

Weddings venues and professionals around Clark County will open their doors to select couples. 58 vendors including Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, and Caesars Palace have offered free services worth nearly $70,000.

A group reception at the Copa will follow the day-long festivities.

Interested couples must submit a 30-60 second video sharing what the experience would mean to them. All submissions must be received by Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Las Vegas Marries the Military is open to all members of the United States Armed Forces, including active-duty, guards/reserves, retired and veterans. 25 couples will win. Only one member of the wedding party needs to be a United States Armed Forces member to be eligible to take part in the contest. Complete contest rules and submission entries are online
