HAWTHORNE, Calif. - An autopsy was pending Tuesday on the body of rapper Tyruss Himes, known by the stage name Big Syke, who was found dead at his Hawthorne home of apparent natural causes.
Himes, 48, was found dead at about 11 p.m. Monday at his residence in the 14000 block of Chadron Avenue, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
Himes was a longtime friend of Tupac Shakur and a member of Shakur's Thug Life group.
