SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The first teaser for the next Star Wars film "The Last Jedi" was released Friday at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Fla., and it seems to have hit all the right points online.

Fans were waiting on pins and needles as they waited for the trailer to be released during a panel at the celebration, which featured director Rian Johnson and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.

Actors Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran were also in attendance to answer questions and discuss the film and series thus far.

And the fandom was very real afterward:

If you haven't checked out the trailer, do so. Right now. Here it is:

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in theaters this December 15.

The celebration teased fans before airing the trailer, releasing a poster for the film before coming clean about the reveal. The poster harkens back to a more classic design for Star Wars, with Ridley's character "Rey" front and center with Hamill's face in the background.

But of course, what's a poster reveal without a little Jar-Jar Binks fun...
