SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - No convention including science fiction in film would be complete without a Star Trek appearance. Devoted Trekkies had a treat Thursday morning with a special panel featuring Nichelle Nichols.
The star was on hand to introduce From the Bridge, a documentary of the show. George Takei, who played Sulu in the original series, will host the documentary leading fans through archival footage including newly-released interviews with Leonard Nimoy and Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
The panel was moderated by actor and Comic-Con veteran Greg Grunberg.
