SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Comic-Con sells out every year. That is now a given.
But another guarantee is offsite events surrounding the convention center that you don't need a Comic-Con badge to enjoy.
Here are some great sites across downtown San Diego for the public to enjoy - no pass needed.
(Remember, keep your eyes open as you never know what will pop up on the spot! Randoms parades and events have been known to sprout up.)
Game of Thrones "Winter is Here" Experience at 628 L Street - Fans can check out Winterfell, Dragonstone, King’s Landing and North of the Wall in this exclusive experience. Priority may be given to SDCC badge holders.
Westworld: Journey Into Night Experience at Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel - Fans of Westworld can journey through the land thematic land, with hidden surprises and exclusive experiences.
The Blade Runner 2049 Experience across the street from the Convention Center - Fans can get a look at Los Angeles 2049 through the Oculus VR headset, tour a replica LA future street scene, and maybe even be tested on the spot to find out if they are humans or replicants.
AMC's DeadQuarters at Martin Luther King, Jr. Promenade - The official headquarters of all things The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead will be offsite across from the Marriott Marquis. Fans can take their swings in a Negan Batting Cage, stop by for a chance to meet cast members, and more.
Kong: Skull Island Activation outside Omni Hotel - Visit the Monarch Containment Zone, housing Kong's ancestors, navigate beast-infested jungles, and uncover ancient Skull Island secrets.
Fandom Fest at Petco Park - Fandom Fest is bringing live entertainment, fan-participatory trivia, special appearances by celebrities, including Michael Rooker, the cast of Voltron, and others.
The Netflix Experience at Hilton Gaslamp - Netflix fans can experience the Upside Down of Stranger Things, the world of Bright, or the streets of NYC in The Defenders at Netflix's offsite event. Fans will also get an exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming Netflix shows and giveaways.
Nintendo Lounge at Marriott Marquis and Marina - Nintendo's popular gaming exhibition extends outside the convention and into the Marriott, featuring their most popular games, demos, tournaments, and swag.
Comic Conference for Educators and Librarians at San Diego Central Library - Will bring library professionals and educators together to discuss creative and exciting ways to use comics in the classroom and in the library. The event runs through Sunday and is absolutely free to enjoy.
The Tick Takeover at MLK Promenade Park at 1st and J - Amazon Prime's The Tick brings an entire movie set, a 20-foot tall animatronic Tick head, and a scavenger hunt.
FXhibition at Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel - Fans will find green screen technology, iconic props, and branded swag from some of FX's most popular shows, including Legion, Archer, and more.
Viceland Bus Party at 530 Island Avenue - Viceland is bringing a party bus to SDCC, with lounge area, snacks, music, swag, and a rooftop deck.
Impractical Jokers Block Party at Petco Park - Join the fans and the cast of Tru TV's Impractical Jokers for some fun at Petco. Fans can check out virtual reality high wire walking, bull riding, face painting, autograph sessions, and catch a never-before-seen episode.
Conival at Marriott Marquis and Marina - Catch a game of Nerdist laser tag, enjoy a tabletop lounge, and witness a Wonder Woman cosplay march on the Main Terrace of the Marriott.
Comedy Central's Broad City Activation at 200 Harbor Dr. #120 - Broad City is bringing a life-size coloring book to the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center, covering every inch of the walls and floor. There will also be a Broad City-inspired manicure station, temporary tattoo station, and prizes.
TBS’ Wrecked Pop-Up Island Tour at 625 Broadway - Check out a makeshift island adventure courtesy of TBS' comedy Wrecked. Fans can check out the island bar, coconut ski ball, or ride a mechanical boar.
Midnight, Texas Takeover at Tin Fish Gaslamp - Tin Fish will be transformed into "Home Cooking," a restaurant from the series Midnight, Texas. Have lunch, get a tarot card reading, and pass through some of the town's iconic locations, with 4D experiences and Snapchat exclusives.

The Expanse Escape Room at J St. and 2nd Ave. - Fan of escape rooms? The Expanse is hosting an escape room experience where fans will be tasked with breaking out of a derelict spaceship. The mission, breakout before you and your team are infected by a dangerous virus aboard.
Adult Swim on the Green at 5th Avenue Landing - Adult Swim returns to SDCC with exclusive prizes, games, a Meatwad Dome, oversized "Claw Machine," and more throughout the day and night.
