SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Zombie fans will get have a full plate of "Walking Dead" panels to enjoy this year at Comic-Con.
Skybound Comics announced Tuesday AMC's pair of wildly popular zombie shows, "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead," will return to San Diego Comic-Con for Hall H panels on Friday, July 19.
The AMC series have routinely packed Hall H for sneak peeks at upcoming seasons, cast interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage of the shows. "TWD" has also been featured on the front of Comic-Con badges for several years now.
The cast attending the panels for each show has yet to be announced. Last year's panel included actors Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Following Lincoln's emotion send-off though, it's unlikely the actor will appear:

Last year, "Fear TWD" featured cast members Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Lennie James, Danay Garcia, Jenna Elfman, Maggie Grace, and Garret Dillahunt in Hall H to tease the upcoming season and talk with fans.
In past years, AMC has also hosted off-site activations featuring various zombie-themed fun and experiences, though AMC didn't say what's planned for this year outside the convention center.
In addition to the shows, "TWD" creator Robert Kirkman will be on hand for "In Conversation with Robert Kirkman," set for Thursday, July 18 at 3 p.m. in Room 6A. During the panel, Kirkman is set to discuss his latest projects including "TWD," "Invincible," "Oblivion Song," and more with fans.
Skybound will also host panels on the upcoming "The Walking Dead: Typhoon" novel by Wesley Chu and a panel on adapting source material for film and TV with "TWD" Executive Producer David Alpert.
San Diego Comic-Con runs Wednesday, July 17, to Sunday, July 21.
