SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The Hello Kitty Cafe Food Truck will return to San Diego Comic-Con this summer after making its first visit to Escondido this month.
The pop-up food and merchandise truck makes its first Escondido visit on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Westfield North County at the entrance near Panera Bread.
Next month, fans can catch the truck at San Diego Comic-Con's Interactive Zone off-site activation at Petco Park. The truck will be open Thursday, July 18, to Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hello Kitty fans will be treated with exclusive goodies and collectibles, including giant Hello Kitty cookies, macaroon sets, and confetti popcorn. A variety of merchandise will also be sold, like t-shirts for kids and adults, headbands, canvas totes, exclusive thermal bottles, limited-edition toys, and more.
As a special promotion, the cafe truck will also give out a free mini-tote with food purchases over $25.
And just for its four-day stop at Comic-Con, the truck will offer an exclusive 5-piece Hello Kitty macaron set in small quantities each day.
