SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Comic-Con is just days away, with the signs appearing in San Diego’s Gaslamp District.
Commercial wraps are covering downtown hotels: the 6’4” Conan O’Brien is even larger on the side of the Marriott Marquis. Disney’s Kingdom of Hearts is featured on the Hilton Bayfront. Both hotels, along with the Central Library and Horton Grand, will host official Comic-Con events.
With the convention center maxed out in space, storefronts and restaurants are being redesigned for ‘takeovers’, with companies renting the valuable space for special events.
