SAN DEIGO (KGTV)— It’s a Comic-Con sleepover party! Superfans staked out their spots in line for the legendary H Hall panels tomorrow.

Thousands of people rushed to get the special wristbands that allow them to get in line for tomorrow’s A-list-filled panels.

“Dr. Horrible’s sing along,” said one woman.
“We are here for Venom!” said another, while pulling out her sleeping bag.

But the majority of the people were anxious to see the biggest panel tomorrow: The Walking Dead.

“This is a popular show, and this is a testament to it,” Andrew Gallagher said while pointing at the seemingly never-ending line. He and a group of mega-fans are on five-hour rotating shifts, to secure their first in line status.

Comic-Con’s Hall H brings in the largest crowds. It is known as the legendary hall for Hollywood. Tomorrow, 6,500 fans get to meet the cast and crew of AMC’s International hit. Bjorn Rekdalsolberg flew in from Norway with his girlfriend to claim a spot in line.

“We’ve been sitting here for quite a long time. It’s just for the experience,” Rekdalsolberg laughed.

Experiencing a night out in San Diego, with a group of like-minded strangers, so that they can get a sneak peek of the upcoming season.

“The trailer… of course we can see it before everyone else,”Rekdalsolberg said.

It’s a crazy notion these fans have come to accept.

“We are a little crazy to some extent,” Gallagher said. “But if they’re into something that they like as well, they will devote their time to it as well. We’re not any different than them.”

“The Walking Dead” panel begins at 12:15 pm in Hall H. The panel for its spin-off show, “Fear the Walking Dead” begins at 11:15 am.
