(KGTV) - A pregnant woman on the way to the hospital to give birth ended up delivering her baby girl inside a San Antonio Chick-fil-A restaurant earlier this week.
KSAT in San Antonio reported Falon Griffin was having contractions on the evening of July 17, so she and her husband Robert headed to the hospital. On the way, the couple had to make a stop at a Chick-fil-A to drop off their older children with a family friend.
However, once they were all in the restaurant’s parking lot, Falon Griffin was ready to give birth then and there.
The restaurant was closed, prompting the Griffins to knock on the door and ask to go to the bathroom.
Falon Griffin told KSAT, "I didn't know I was going to have a baby in there! I was going to the restroom.”
The store’s director let them inside and Robert Griffin helped his wife deliver baby girl Gracelyn moments later.
After having the baby and as everyone waited for emergency crews to arrive, mom reflected on the events that just occurred.
She told KSAT, "Oh my gosh we just had a baby in Chick-Fil-A. I was like, 'This really happened. How is this my life right now?'"
Falon Griffin and baby Gracelyn are doing well in the hospital, according to KSAT.
KSAT reported Gracelyn will have Chick-fil-A for life and a guaranteed job when she’s 14 years old.
Franchise owners are also planning her first birthday party at Chick-fil-A.
