A trending viral video shows a woman enduring 10 hours of street harassment and catcalls to show what it's like to be a woman simply walking down the streets of New York City.
The video was put together into a Public Service Announcement meant to prevent street harassment, by an anti-harassment group called "Hollaback."
The woman on camera is wearing an unassuming crew neck T-shirt along with jeans, but she gets looks with every step.
According to the the video, producers captured more than 100 instances of verbal street harassment, and countless winks and whistles. Meanwhile, the woman does not respond at all.
Her boyfriend, the creator of the project, attached a camera to his backpack while walking in front of her.
The video has already been viewed more than 8 million times since it was posted Tuesday.
