(KGTV) - A young girl went a bit overboard with her online shopping.
Six-year-old Katelyn Lunt was recently allowed to order a Barbie doll on Amazon. Her mother, Catherine Lunt, told ABC’s Good Morning America that the doll was Katelyn’s prize for doing extra chores.
However, once Katelyn got a taste of online shopping, she apparently looked for more things to buy.
When Lunt checked on the order status, she noticed numerous items were ordered that she didn’t recognize. It turns out young Katelyn had added more toys to her order -- $350 worth.
Several boxes of toys were shipped to the Lunt’s Utah home, but Lunt told GMA that she was able to cancel some of the ordered items.
According to GMA, the Lunt family donated the extra toys to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.
