WATCH THE PARADE LIVE AT 12PM:

Former Padres stars Trevor Hoffman and Dave Winfield will be the grand marshals for Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game parade in downtown San Diego.

Led by Hoffman and Winfield, All-Star players and coaches will travel in vehicles on the downtown streets on a 100 percent polypropylene red carpet that will be recycled after its use.

The parade, which is free to the public, kicks off at noon. The route will start at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, head across West Harbor Drive onto Market Street, and then onto Union Street. From Union Street, the parade heads left onto Island Avenue and then turns right onto 5th Avenue. The parade will then turn left onto K Street until 7th Avenue, where players and coaches will enter Petco Park via the Gaslamp Gate.

Parking for the parade and other All-Star Week events is expected to be very limited, and fans are urged to use public transportation.

MTS will have special event trolley service during the events. Multiple trolley stations are located within a few blocks of the parade route. Southbound Coaster trains will be departing Oceanside station at 7:42 a.m., 9:43 a.m., 11:08 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Free park-and-ride parking lots are located along Trolley and Coaster lines, including more than 5,000 spaces at Qualcomm Stadium.
