SAN DIEGO -- Someone working under a bridge in the San Pasqual Valley fell about 15 feet into a wash Tuesday, a fire department dispatcher said.

The man was near Bandy Canyon and Ysabel Creek roads when he fell about 8 a.m., a fire dispatcher said.

Medics, who reported the man in serious condition, airlifted the man to Palomar Medical Center, he said.
