DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) -- Video shows a man being carried out of his home after a garage fire broke out in Del Mar early Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called to the home on the 2700 block of Camino Del Mar around 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning.
Two people were trapped inside the home when the fire started. Firefighters had to rescue both people from the home. Dramatic video showed one of the rescues.
Shortly after the fire, a firefighter collapsed on the sidewalk and had to be transported to the hospital for unknown reasons.
Camino Del Mar is closed while the fire department investigates the cause of the fire.
