SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Cell phone video captured by a resident at the La Jolla Crossroads apartment complex shows police officers rushing to the swimming pool area where a mass shooting took place.
In video captured by Dung van Nguyen and posted on his Facebook page, officers are seen running to the apartment complex's pool area. One officer is heard screaming at the shooter to "drop the gun."
After the order, multiple shots are fired, but it is unclear in the footage who shot first.
The gunman, identified as 49-year-old apartment resident Peter Selis, was shot and killed.
Selis is accused of opening fire during a pool party, striking at least six partygoers.
One of the shooting victims, an unidentified woman, died from her injuries.
