SAN DIEGO -- A male hospitalized for stab wounds told police he was attacked and stabbed by four people in clown costumes near San Diego State University.
Officers responded to the victim at a hospital who told them the incident occurred at 8:57 p.m. Friday in the College East neighborhood but police did not disclose the exact location.
The victim told police he was riding his skateboard when he got into a verbal argument with someone across the street, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.
The victim said he started to skateboard away when four people in clown costumes attacked him.
The victim had a deep laceration to his left cheek and the back of his right shoulder and two stab wounds to his lower abdomen, Heims said, adding that his injuries were non-life threatening.
