SAN DIEGO -- A woman accused along with her boyfriend of sexually assaulting two 7-year-old girls she was hired to babysit was a staff member at a San Marcos school, Team 10 learned Thursday.

Brittney Lyon and her boyfriend, Samuel Cabrera, Jr., both 22, were arrested July 7 on charges of conspiracy, forcible child molest and kidnapping for child molest.

On Thursday, Team 10 discovered Lyon was an instructional aide at San Elijo Elementary School. A spokesperson for the San Marcos Unified School District confirmed Lyon is on unpaid administrative leave. Lyon also worked at a local YMCA.

According to unsealed search warrants obtained by Team 10 this week, Lyon confessed her involvement in the sordid affair to investigators. Carlsbad police believe there are more victims.

Lyon told officers she and Cabrera were romantically involved for three years. She claimed Cabrera has a back injury that causes him constant pain. He told her the only relief for his pain was sexual arousal.

When Lyon could no longer arouse Cabrera, search warrants read, he instructed her to shoot pictures and videos of women in changing rooms at Forever 21, Charlotte Russe and Papaya stores in malls located in Carlsbad and Escondido. Lyon told investigators Cabrera outfitted her purse with a two-way mirror containing a GoPro camera.

Lyon told investigators she also shot video of women changing and showering in the locker room of the 24-Hour Fitness on Palomar Airport Road, documents state.

She told investigators that, after a few months, Cabrera wanted more. In December 2015 he asked her to bring a verbally autistic girl she was babysitting to his Bressi Ranch home.

"Cabrera took the child into his bedroom and told Lyon to wait outside," the search warrant reads. "Approximately 20 minutes later, Cabrera called Lyon into his bedroom and told her to put the child's clothing back on and leave his house. Lyon stated that when she entered the room the child was nude and standing at the foot of Cabrera's bed."

Lyon told investigators she brought the girl back at least 15 times so Cabrera could molest her.

In March 2016, Cabrera told Lyon to bring over another 7-year-old girl she was babysitting to his home. This happened more than once. Lyon told investigators she and Cabrera would have the girl pose in her panties for photographs and videos. Lyon told investigators she never left the child alone with Cabrera, and that she would sometimes sit at the foot of the bed and watch television while Cabrera and the girl laid at the head of the bed.

"Lyon told detectives that Cabrera made both girls sit on his lap unclothed and play "Horsey." Lyon described "Horsy" as the girls bouncing and grinding into Cabrera's lap. Cabrera also had Lyon record the girls urinating and would demand the video before they left his residence," according to the warrant.

Officers seized 52 items from Cabrera's home including several computers and laptops, cell phones, hard drives and camera equipment.  They also took bedding as evidence and a set of 10 finger puppets.

Team 10 requested a jailhouse interview with Lyon. She declined.

Both Lyon and Cabrera are due in court Sept. 30.
