SAN DIEGO - Police investigated a bomb threat made against the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center in La Jolla Tuesday morning.

Center officials told police that a bomb threat was made against the center (4126 Executive Dr.) just after 6 a.m.

Further details on the threat were not immediately released.

The center was evacuated for officers to investigate, but nothing suspicious was found.

The threat is coinciding with several acts of vandalism at Jewish facilities across the nation.
