San Diegans capture views of Jennings Fire across the county

LAKESIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - Firefighters are battling a brush fire in Lakeside Tuesday, that grew to hundreds of acres within an hour.

The Jennings Fire erupted along Interstate 98 and Old Highway 80 in Lakeside Tuesday afternoon, sending a large plume of smoke into the sky that could be seen as far away as Clairemont.

Along with 10News reporter Steve Fiorina heading to the scene, residents quickly began posting their vantage points to social media. We're compiling the view from around the county here:
