LAKESIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - Firefighters are battling a brush fire in Lakeside Tuesday, that grew to hundreds of acres within an hour.
The Jennings Fire erupted along Interstate 98 and Old Highway 80 in Lakeside Tuesday afternoon, sending a large plume of smoke into the sky that could be seen as far away as Clairemont.
