SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--Tempers flared at a march calling to impeach President Donald Trump on Sunday at the Waterfront Park.
Former Democratic Assemblywoman Lori Saldaña was one of about 1,000 people who showed up to call for Trump's impeachment.
“We demand that Congress does its job and commences with impeachment proceedings immediately,” she said in a press release.
Counter-protestors were also out in full force.
They said Trump has not committed a crime and there are no grounds to impeach him.
As anger mounted on both sides, law enforcement stepped in and separated the two groups.
