San Diegans rally against pot dispensary

Posted

A group of community and church leaders, parents and their children took a stand against a marijuana dispensary scheduled to open in their neighborhood near San Ysidro Boulevard and Border Village Road.

They gathered in front of the store, holding signs to show they don't want the business in their community.

"I'm really scared," parent Olga Espinoza said. "I feel our kids are going to be in danger. Temptation, I don't want any temptation around my kids."

The group also said a prayer in front of the store before they were done.

The marijuana dispensary has a legal permit to open in October.
