SAN DIEGO -- Californians passed Tuesday a proposition that will ban the sale and possession of large capacity ammunition magazines and also impose background checks for purchasing ammunition, per City News Service.
There will also be new felony charges for gun thefts and new rules for keeping guns out of the hands of felons and others disqualified from possessing fire arms.
