The San Diego Police Officers Association, Inc. (SDPOA) is grief-stricken over the loss of Officer Jonathan DeGuzman, who was shot and killed in the line of duty.
“We are heartbroken by the loss of Officer Jonathan DeGuzman, who was killed in the line of duty after he and his partner, Officer Wade Irwin, were shot during a traffic stop. Our thoughts, prayers, and unwavering support go out to the family and friends of the fallen officer. We pray that Officer Irwin makes a full and speedy recovery,” said SDPOA President Brian R. Marvel.
Funeral service arrangements are pending. The San Diego Police Officers Association has established a fund for Officer DeGuzman’s family. Donations can be mailed to:
