SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are looking for a man who tried to abduct a teenage girl in the Southcrest area.
According to San Diego police, the incident happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 3900 block of Alpha Street, near Cesar Chavez Elementary School.
Police said a 16-year-old girl was walking with another teen when a man ran behind her, grabbed her shoulder and pulled her. The man, described as Hispanic in his 20s-30s, did not say anything during the attack, according to police.
Both girls were able to fight back, prompting the man to run away. Police said the man got into a white older model 4-door Acura -- with a Hispanic woman in her 20s-30s sitting in the passenger seat -- and drove away.
Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact the San Diego Police Department's Southeastern Division.
