SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police identified the man fatally stabbed Monday night in City Heights this week.
Sonny Ray Gonzalez, 29, of San Diego, was found bleeding from an apparent stab wound in the 4100 block of Manzanita Drive at about 9:30 p.m., near the entrance of Manzanita Canyon.
Police administered first aid at the scene and Gonzalez was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to San Diego Police.

Another person, only identified as a woman, was also stabbed and brought to Mercy Hospital for treatment. Her condition and name have not been released.
Several people were taken into custody following the incident but no arrests have been announced. It's still unclear what led up to the incident.
SDPD said they are looking for a Hispanic male last seen running from the canyon along with an unknown female. Anyone with information is asked to call SDPD's Homicide Unit at 619-531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
