A 56-year-old pilot walked away with only minor cuts after his small plane crashed at the Ramona Airport Saturday, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
The small, two-seat plane crashed near the CAL FIRE helicopter landing pad just after 10 a.m.
The pilot was treated at the scene by firefighters. No one else was on-board the plane and no one on the ground was injured.
Ramona Airport officials have notified the FAA and NTSB about the crash.
There is no other information available at this time.
