SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A Southwest flight traveling from Sacramento to San Diego was forced to make an early landing Saturday due to a medical emergency.
Southwest confirmed to 10News that flight 6641 made an emergency landing in Los Angeles due to the medical emergency.
The passenger and three others aboard the flight with them came off the plane in LA, before the plane continued on to San Diego.
The flight safely landed at Lindbergh Field at 8:30 a.m., about an hour and 10 minutes after it's scheduled arrival time.
The condition of the passenger is not known. Southwest could not share any further details due to medical privacy laws and protocol.
