DETROIT, Mich. (KGTV/AP) - Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton experienced life as a Marine Tuesday with a workout in Detroit.
Upton completed the training, which involved aerobic exercises and running.
The model was on hand to promote Marine Week, which runs September 6 through 10.

"It was (a) very hard workout," Upton said to the Associated Press. "I knew it was going to be hard. The Marines are very tough."
Upton's fiance, Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, watched from afar.
