SANTEE, Calif. (KGTV)-- Authorities were seeking the public's help Tuesday to identify a man wanted for using credit cards stolen from lockers at a 24 Hour Fitness to purchase items and a gift card totaling about $1,000.

The first incident happened May 6 around midnight, when the suspect purchased $500 worth of items at CVS store located at 9730 Mission Gorge Road in Santee. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department said the credit card had just been stolen from a secured locker at the 24 Hour Fitness located at 9906 Mission Gorge Road.

The second incident happened June 10 between the hours of 11:10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. when it's believed the same suspect stole a victim's wallet from the same 24 Hour Fitness and used it to buy a $500 gift card at the Walgreen's store located at 9305 Mission Gorge Road. The suspect then tried to use the same credit card at a nearby CVS store but the card had already been deactivated.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 30 and 40 years old, with a medium build and dark hair. He wore shorts and a t-shirt and tennis shoes or sandals. He was seen driving a dark-colored sedan.
