SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are searching for whoever is responsible for the stabbing death of a homeless man in North Park.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to reports of a man lying on the sidewalk with torso injuries in the 2800 block of University Avenue.
Police believe the man may have been stabbed near 28th Street and walked on University Avenue in search for help.
Emergency crews took the 38-year-old man to the hospital, but he died from his injuries, according to police.
There is no immediate word on possible suspects in the case.
