SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man arrested this week in connection with a series of gropings at San Diego State University has been arrested again for an incident in Riverside.

Minda Shewangiza, 19, was arrested Friday in connection with a sexual assault at the University of California, Riverside, U.S. Marshals Service San Diego Task Force (SDFTF) said.

Officers tracked him down at his job at a San Diego supermarket and took him into custody at about 4 p.m.

He will be extradited to Riverside County to face charges for sexual assault, SDFTF said.

SDFTF did not disclose any further details of his arrest.

Shewangiza was also arrested earlier this year on UC Riverside's campus, according to City News Service.

When Shewangiza was arrested for the recent groping incidents reported at SDSU, university officials said they were aware of the man's May arrest and were in contact with Riverside authorities, according to CNS.

Riverside District Attorney's Office Public Information Officer John Hall told CNS there was no criminal case against Shewangizaw and that campus police in Riverside may not have forwarded their case.

No further information about Shewangiza's May arrest was immediately available.
