SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The owner of “Brooklyn Dogs” did not mince words when he encountered two security guards in Horton Plaza. A 10News crew captured the exchange late Monday morning.
The Metro Arson Strike Team is investigating after the Brooklyn Dogs hot dog cart burned down at Horton Plaza. The owner openly questioned why Horton Plaza did not have more security.
10News reached out to Westfield to learn more about the incident. Since the investigation is active, we were told to refer to the police department for information.
Hot dog vendor Pete Soto also lashed out at San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer for not doing more about the homeless problem downtown. A representative from the city of San Diego did not immediately reply to our request for comment.
