Warnings were posted around a Catalina Island diving area Saturday after a great white shark was spotted, authorities said.
Three people reported seeing the 12- to 15-foot shark at about 2:30 p.m. near the Outskirt Dive Bar, said Los Angeles County firefighter Gustavo Medina.
"No one was injured or attacked," Medina said.
Warnings were posted in the area but it was not shut down for scuba diving, he said.
