Four injured in Palm Desert bee swarm attack

PALM DESERT, Calif. -- Four people were injured, one critically, after being attacked by a swarm of bees in Palm Desert Tuesday, according to KESQ.

The swarm attacked just before 9 a.m. near the Suncrest Golf Course. First responders found one person suffering from major injuries at an indoor pool.

The other three victims were found with only minor injuries. A vector control team was sent to the scene and located the beehive.
