SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--San Diego firefighters stopped the progress of a 10-acre brush fire near Mission Trails Park that burned close to homes Monday afternoon.
The blaze, which began at 4:24 p.m., threatened structures near Big Rock and Mesa Roads.
San Diego Fire-Rescue, Ca Fire and Heartland Fire Departments responded to the fire.
The active flames were extinguished by 6:30 p.m.
